Police say the suspect’s identity was determined from a vehicle description, and officers responded to the suspect’s home in Williamstown.
The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On Aug. 9, at 7:41 p.m., officers responded to the Target Store, 751 S. Route 73 for a report of a male who was allegedly taking pictures of a female while she was getting changed inside a fitting room.
Police say the victim advised officers that while she was inside a fitting room trying on clothes, she observed a man’s hand holding a cell-phone under the fitting room door. Believing that the male was videoing or taking a picture of her while changing, police say she exited the fitting room and confronted the male, who then proceeded to run out of the store.
According to police, the identity of the suspect was determined from a vehicle description provided by a witness in the parking lot. Officers then responded to the suspect’s home in Williamstown. At the home, police say officers obtained evidence that the suspect had taken pictures of the victim and located additional electronically devices containing additional footage of females appearing to get undressed in other unknown fitting rooms.
According to police, the Evesham Police Department is working with the Burlington County Prosecutors to thoroughly review the contents of all of the digital items that were seized. This investigation is ongoing and the department is seeking information from anyone who may have been in contact with the subject arrested in this investigation.
