The Cherry Hill Board of Education meets tonight to outline its 2011–12 budget.
The Cherry Hill School District will receive $9,655,320 in state aid for 2011–12, an increase of $1,717,955, according to figures released by the state Department of Education.
The board had been building a budget on the assumption that state aid would be flat for the 2011–12 school year. The budget would have required no increase in the school tax levy.
The board meets at 7 p.m., in the Malberg Administration Building.
