Monster catch

Courtesy of Kathleen Tezla
Christopher Tezla, 11, reeled up a true “river monster” right in his Medford backyard. He was inspired to learn the basics of fishing after a camping trip to Parvin State Park, according to his mom Kathleen. After baiting his hook with a worm, the youth found himself in a battle with a 20-pound catfish along the south branch of the Rancocas Creek. He wants everyone to know it was a catch and release.
