Township's July 4th parade committee invites veterans to ride on their own float

The Moorestown July 4th committee will present its annual holiday parade on Tuesday, July 4 at noon, along Chester Avenue and Main Street.

The year’s theme is National Parks of America. All civic and community groups can participate at no charge but should register ahead of time. The committee is extending an invitation to all military veterans in Moorestown to ride on their own float.

Parade assembly will be at the intersection of Central and Chester avenues. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to stake out a viewing spot. Veterans are asked to wear something that celebrates their military service, such as a service-related ball cap or T-shirt.

For more info concerning veterans, contact Alan Van Saun at [email protected]. For more details about the parade and ways to support the all-volunteer effort, visit the website at www.moorestown4thjuly.org.
