Township wishes luck to retired park worker

Mantua is saying, “happy retirement” to a familiar face at Chestnut Branch Park.

On Feb. 28, Rick Anderson officially worked his last day as a township employee. For 34 years, he has been a key component in maintaining and developing Mantua’s beloved park.

What does our Public Works Superintendent Glenn DeMers have to say about Anderson? “Rick’s a great employee and we’re going to miss him terribly. He’s going to be hard to replace,” said DeMers.

All in all, we wish Anderson happiness in his retirement and thank him for his unwavering commitment to our community and especially our park.

Happy retirement.
