Nature at Night is Gloucester County Parks and Recreation’s news program featuring presentations of beautiful images and real animals on display.
“Parks and Recreation created a new program designed to expose residents to the beauty of nature. Many of our events take place on the weekends or during the day, this program accommodates the schedules of those who can’t always attend our weekly events,” said Director Frank J. DiMarco.
Nature at Night will be hosted by Michael McGraw, Senior Wildlife Biologist at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC, for a journey through the wonderful world of reptiles! Nature at Night will be held every third Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Scotland Run Park Nature Center at 980 E. Academy St. in Clayton, N.J.
Due to limited space, registration is required: secure.rec1.com/NJ/gloucester-county-nj/catalog
“Our parks system is a great way to introduce yourself to nature right here in Gloucester County. These programs can provide residents with an introduction to the many ecosystems that’s right in their backyards,” said Commissioner Jim Jefferson, liaison to the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Nature at Night will be held through April. Additional topics will be announced monthly.
