Moorestown High Grad Named Pratt Head Cross Country/Track & Field Coach

Ringwood comes to Pratt from Cabrini University where he was the head men's and women's cross country coach since 2020.

Christine Harkinson/Special to The Sun: Moorestown High School graduate David Ringwood is now The Pratt Institute’s next  cross-country and track and field head coach.

BROOKLYN, NY – The Pratt Institute’s athletic department has announced the hiring of Mooorestown High School Graduate, David Ringwood, as its next Head Cross Country and Track and Field coach as well as Coordinator of Recreation and Memberships.

Ringwood comes to Pratt from Cabrini University where he was the head men’s and women’s cross country coach since 2020. Prior to Cabrini, Ringwood spent five years at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland as an assistant coach for the cross country and track & field teams.

Ringwood is a 2013 graduate from John Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He also earned his masters from John Hopkins in 2016 with a degree in communications. In 2016, Ringwood finished runner-up in the Charleston Marathon and was the top American in the race.
