The Deptford Fire Department is hosting a Santa Run starting Dec. 13, bringing the big jolly elf around town atop one of its firetrucks for safe, socially distanced holiday cheer.
The schedule is as follows:
• Community FC starting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13
• Almonesson FC starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, and Friday, Dec. 18
• Oak Valley FC starting at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19
• New Sharon FC at the following times and areas: On Dec. 19 starting at 6 p.m. through Windemere, Deptford Lakes, New Sharon Woods, Tanyard Acres and Tanyard Oaks; On Dec. 20 starting at 6 p.m. through Loucroft Farms, Bridlewood, Lakes of Bankbridge and Bankbridge Estates; and Dec. 21 starting at 6 p.m. through Bock Avenue, Bountary Run, Sage Hill, Hammond Heights and Jericho.
• Tacoma FC starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19
• Union FC starting at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24
