Community service project providing winter warmth

Project Blanket Buddiezz  is a community service project which was started by the Khan family about four years ago. Zayb, Zaara, Amaal and Iman Khan under the guidance of their mother Huma Khan, have held the no-sew blanket making event at schools, libraries etc.

It  involves volunteers of all ages to make no-sew blankets to be donated to the needy in our local and nearby communities. Th most recent public event was held on Sunday, Jan. 26 at Mount Laurel library.

They will hold their next event at William Allen Middle school through Oasis service Club. All WAMS students are welcome to join. The event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 2:30 p.m. in WAMS Room C-6.

All the supplies will be provided. The group is requesting donations of no-sew blanket kits.
