With profound love and respect, we celebrate the life of Milagros Andino, known affectionately as Mila. Born on December 25, 1992, in Brooklyn, New York, Mila, a beacon of resilience and courage, transitioned from this life on January 5, 2025, leaving a void filled only by the beautiful memories she created.
Though Mila was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, her family and friends were continuously amazed by her resilience, her love for life, and her ability to brighten any room with her smile. She loved cartoons and music, and her favorite moments were spent surrounded by her family, especially her grandmother Irma, who was her constant companion and Guardian Angel.
Mila’s life was a testament to her name “Miracle”. She taught those who knew her the true meaning of courage, reminding them daily to appreciate the little things in life.
She is survived by her loving family, her beloved Guardian Angel/ grandmother Irma Malave, father Candido Andino Jr., her mother Irma Acosta, and her sisters Melinda Andino-Martinez, Melissa Acosta, and Maribel De La Rosa. A courageous and loving soul, Mila’s legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
