With a heavy heart we announce the passing of William S. Gaidosh, a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather who passed away after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Bill or Bear, as most knew him, passed peacefully at his lifelong home with his devoted wife and caretaker by his side. Bill was born in Philadelphia and at the age of five moved to Palmyra, New Jersey, where he eventually attended Palmyra high school. He was dedicated to his place of employment, Allied Chemical which later became Sunoco in Philadelphia. Throughout his career he attained many certificates and awards as a Senior Foreman. In his early years he enjoyed spending time with his friends and playing pool at the dragon inn. His hobbies included fishing, crabbing, and deer hunting. He was a master at the card game Pinochle.
He is preceded by his father and mother, Frank and Maria Gaidosh and Stepmother Ida, his brother Frank Jr., daughter Marianne Harris and granddaughters Briana and Cheyanne. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Rose, his sons Billy and Brian, and daughter Tanya (Travis), his sisters Jean and Marie, and his grandchildren Brandon, Becky, Gene, Jacob, Michael, Maggie, Anna, Zak, Brian, William and Abigail, and great-grandchild Alex.
William’s celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home, Pennsauken.
