The 2024 Deptford Mall family football fest takes place on Saturday.
The community event – sponsored by Nemours Children’s Health and Xfinity – will include entertainment, activities and special appearances by some members of the Philadelphia Eagles. Proceeds will benefit the Deptford Township L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) program.
The free event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. in the mall’s parking lot, near Almonesson Road and Macy’s.
“We are beyond excited to host our annual family football fest for the local community,” said Lori L. Belsito, the mall’s senior marketing manager. “This event is about more than just football, it’s about bringing the community together for a day of fun, family and support for a fantastic cause.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet Eagles players Brandon Graham, Quinyon Mitchell and Jeremiah Trotter Jr., all of whom will appear from 2 to 4 p.m. Autographs and photo opportunities will be available for those with tickets; they can be purchased online from Overtime Promotions.
Also included in the football fest will be fitness and dance performances; an Eagles selfie station; children’s activities; and a mall vendor showcase with the likes of Rally House, Verizon, Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Pro Image, Balloon Celebrations, ServPro, TD Bank and Fulton Bank.
Guests can visit a prize station and make a $10 or more donation to the L.E.A.D. program to have the chance to win prizes, including a 65-inch TV, Eagles merchandise and gift cards. Those who donate will also receive a special Eagles schedule magnet. With a $20 donation, guests will also get a mall lunch tote, while supplies last.
The mall will also host a sports card and collectible show from Friday through Monday, Sept. 2, in center court during its regular hours.
