Mantua’s Little League program will bring back its fall festival from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 405 Main St.
“We want this festival to be a true community celebration,” said the league’s Nicole Steen, “inviting not just our MLL families, but also everyone in Mantua and the surrounding towns to join in the fun. We love our Mantua Little League families, and anytime we can include the community into our events it’s a win-win.”
The event marks the league’s second fall festival and will include face painting, pumpkin painting and other activities.
” … There’s something for everyone,” said Steen.
Returning this year is the Touch a Truck portion of the festival, where the township police, fire and public works departments – as well as EMS – encourage attendees to explore their official vehicles.
Vendors representing local businesses will man tables to interact with attendees. The league is also seeking new vendors who can reach out to [email protected]. Steen gave credit to the league’s sponsors for helping to make the festival happen.
“We are incredibly lucky and grateful for our season sponsors, who asked to be part of our fall festival,” she explained. “Shoemaker Jukebox for always providing us with the jukebox music rental. Hoffman’s Exterminating, a local business in Mantua, has been a dedicated supporter of our league, as well as Dina Beck, a local Realtor, is also contributing her support to our players.”
As the event gets closer, the league will sell wristbands for attendees to access its activities. They will be available by pre-order or the day of the festival; the league will announce details on social media.
“We look forward to a memorable evening and hope to see many of our neighbors there,” Steen said.
