Lodge announces scholarships, educator award 

Nominations are open for its 2024 Educator of the Year Award for outstanding educators and administrators in county school districts, including Haddonfield. 

Rising Sun Lodge No. 15, F&AM, has announced two, $1,500 education grants for college-bound students graduating from area high schools in 2024. Nominations are open for its 2024 Educator of the Year Award for outstanding educators and administrators in county school districts, including Haddonfield. 

The lodge is based on Kings Highway East downtown. Both its education grant and educator award programs are administered by the Rising Sun Scholarship Fund Inc., a charitable subsidiary of the lodge that recognizes the accomplishments of area students, teachers, principals and other school administrators.

Scholarship grants and the Educator of the Year Award will be presented Rising Sun Lodge’s annual banquet on Wednesday, June 5. To obtain a grant application, or to nominate an educator, visit the lodge website at www.rsl15.com and look under the community support menu item. Include your request, name, phone number, email and – for an educator nominee – name and school affiliation.

Completed applications will be due by April 15.
