Holiday events in downtown Haddonfield

Borough announces tree lighting and other annual traditions

Downtown Haddonfield will host a tree lighting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, at Library Point. The night will include treats and songs by the Haddonfield Memorial High School Choir. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will then lead a parade from Library Point to Kings Court, where  they will pose for pictures at the Gazebo.

The borough Celebrations Association,  Mayor Colleen Bianco Bezich, the police department and Downtown Haddonfield are sponsors for this year’s festivities. 

Candlelight Shopping in Downtown Haddonfield also kicks off on Nov. 24 with late-night shopping and caroling. Friday night candlelight shopping continues on Dec. 1, 8, 15, and 22.

New this year is a Holly Trolly that will takes visitors on a tour through the decorated downtown streets and the surrounding neighborhood. The Trolly will run on Dec. 1 from 4 to 9 p.m. Tickets will be available in advance and more information on how to buy tickets will be available soon at  www.DowntownHaddonfield.com 

Guests can shop local this year during Small Business Weekend, Nov. 24 to 26, when downtown stores and restaurants will offer specials.
