Counselors are on hand at Palymyra Police headquarters, 20 West Broad St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday for those struggling with substance abuse as part of the Straight to Treatment program. No appointment or insurance is needed, just walk right in and be helped.

The Palmyra School District Preschool enrollment is now open for the 2023-24 school year. Parents can now register their 3- and 4-year-old children for preschool. The free full-day program is moving, and they anticipate seven classrooms, which will be housed in the Delaware Avenue School Building in September.

Palmyra Downtown and Public Safety Day is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 6 on Broad Street, which will be closed for the festivities.
There will be fun activities for the whole family including games and rides, plenty of food and vendors.
