Red Cross is seeking blood donations. One in seven patients entering a hospital will need a blood transfusion. At the same time, only about 3% of Americans give blood. The American Red Cross needs more people to make and keep appointments to give blood or platelets in February.

Stroll by read and learn from the township’s Black History Window Gallery. Come see the accomplishments of Black American’s and the things they created, which are displayed in the windows of the Community Center, 30 W. Broad St., Palmyra.

Thursdays

Counselors are on hand at police headquarters, 20 West Broad St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday for those struggling with substance abuse as part of the Straight to Treatment program. No appointment or insurance is needed, just walk right in and be helped.
