The Deptford Police Department was filled with joy this afternoon as they provided a “basket of cheer” to residents today as part of our No Shave November/December men’s health awareness campaign.
Every year, DTPD officers raise money amongst themselves and donate it to a family going through health issues during the holidays. This year, officers raised $1700 which was used to provide Tony and Margaret of Pine Acres with two baskets filled with books, blankets, fishing gear, cash, and more.
Giving back is part of our mission here at DTPD. With that, we’d like to wish you all a very safe, and joyous holiday.
