The Gloucester County Nature Club will start its new season Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. at the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church at the corner of Woodbury-Glassboro Road and Mantua Avenue, Wenonah, N.J.
The program for September will be “Raptors and Reptiles – A Presentation with Life Animals”
The Gloucester County Nature Club is pleased to begin its new season of in person programs with a live animal presentation from Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge.
This program is family friendly. Young people are encouraged to attend, meet and learn about some of the amazing wild creatures of New Jersey.
Learn why raptors and reptiles are so well suited to their habitats and which characteristics help them play an important role in our environment. Do these groups have similarities despite seeming so different from one another?
Meetings are scheduled for the second Thursday of the month, September through June, and are free and open to the public. For more information, please visit www.gcnatureclub.org
