The Deptford Police Department would like to thank Mission BBQ for their generous donation of $2,700 to the Police Explorers Program. Mission BBQ sells blue souvenir “Heroes” cups. The proceeds of those sales go toward a donation to a local police or fire cause.
Because of their generosity, the Deptford Police are able to fund the Police Explorer Post at no cost to children or their parents. The organization has produced many of their young officers including Officer Anthony Gatto, Officer Xavier Robinson and Officer Luke Ivey. These officers had a chance to speak with Mission BBQ employees today and personally thank them. They explained how the program helped shape their careers.
