Virtual Run to benefit Donahue Stables starts Nov. 5

There will be a virtual run that will kickoff on Friday, Nov. 5 with the deadline on Nov. 25, and a block party on Nov. 20 at 9 a.m.

On Wednesday, Sept. 1 a category F3 tornado touched down in Gloucester County, N.J. and traveled over 12 miles, causing destruction for so many families and farms. On Friday, Nov. 5 we will kick off our virtual run, “The Twister Twelve Miler,” an event dedicated to raising funds to help Donahue Stables in Sewell rebuild after the destruction of their barn and much of their lands.

Donahue Stables boards, provides lessons to our community, and is home to many horses, including some for the N.J. State Police.

There will be a virtual run that will kickoff on Friday, Nov. 5 with the deadline on Nov. 25, and a block party on Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at Chestnut Branch Park in Mantua to raise money for Donahue Stables that faced destruction due to the Sept. 1 tornado. There will be food, music, and vendors!
