The Museum of American History in Deptford is announcing its re-opening on July 9 and its special World War II exhibit running from July 9 through Sept. 27.
World War II was a war that defined an era in American and world history. Featuring military as well as civilian paraphernalia. Items include weapons, equipment, uniforms, flags and coinage of both the Allied and Axis powers in the Pacific as well as the European theatres.
The museum’s permanent exhibits include artifacts from the pre-Columbian through the colonial eras, American Farmstead, antique hand tools and equipment, the Pine Barrens, glass and a fossil exhibit.
The museum is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Face masks must be worn at all times and social distancing is encouraged.
