Deptford Township has scheduled a Shred Day event for Saturday, July 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Deptford Township municipal complex, 1011 Cooper Street.

Residents can protect themselves from identity theft and financial fraud by bringing bags and boxes of paper to be shredded. An operator from DocuVault Delaware Value will move the bins to a mobile shredding unit where the materials will be destroyed.
Residents are asked to bring paper only. Plastic bags, metal, binders and clips can not be shredded. Paper clips and staples are acceptable. No businesses are permitted to attend. Residents are limited to five boxes each.
