In the interest of public health, various events across Gloucester County have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
These cancellations were made under the guidance from the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) on large gatherings and social distancing which will help flatten the curve and stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
The following events from May 1 to May 15 have been cancelled:
May 1 – High school senior job fair at Rowan College of South Jersey
May 1 – History Tots at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park, will be re-scheduled
May 2 – Summer program registration at the Gloucester County store inside the Deptford Mall
May 2 – Child safety seat check at the Gloucester County store inside the Deptford Mall
May 2 – Kitten Showers at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter
May 3 – Colonial Tea and Garden Tour at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park
May 3 – Mother’s Day Tea at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park
May 5 – Public Hearing for Seniors at the Department of Senior Services in West Deptford, will be re-scheduled
May 6 – DRCC re-certification training at the Gloucester County Library in Mullica Hill
May 6 – GC certified gardener training at the Government Services Building in Clayton, will be re-scheduled
May 7 – Bird Watch at Scotland Run Park in Clayton, will be re-scheduled
May 8 – History Tots at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park, will be re-scheduled
May 9 – Spring Garden Expo and Plant Sale at the Government Services Building in Clayton
May 12 – Senior Health and Fitness at Auletto’s Caterers in Deptford, will be re-scheduled
May 13 – Narcan training at the Swedesboro Library, will be re-scheduled
May 13 – GC certified gardener training at the Government Services Building in Clayton, will be re-scheduled
May 14 – Our Community Saltues at Pitman Golf Course in Sewell
May 15 – History Tots at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park, will be re-scheduled
May 15 – Grandparent caregiver group at the Department of Senior Services in West Deptford, will be re-scheduled
May 15 – Movies in the Park in Harrison Township
