The following report is on file with the Medford Police Department.Â
On Aug. 16, at 8:45 p.m., Medford Police and Medford Fire Department were
dispatched to Roast Coffee, located at 200 Tuckerton Rd for a fire inside of the business. Medford Police and Medford Fire Departments arrived and met with the owner of the business who stated while on location roasting coffee, a fire started inside of the coffee roaster exhaust vent. The fire was extinguished by Medford Fire Department with minimal damage to the business. The Burlington County Health Department was notified and responded. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was due to residue built up in the exhaust pipe.
