This Friday, June 28, the Voorhees Arts Center and Gallery will be celebrating its one year anniversary of its opening in the Voorhees Town Center, providing the experience of seeing and buying one of a kind artwork by 30 local artists as well as art classes, workshops and celebrations. The celebration starts at 7 p.m.
The center and gallery is excited and wants to show residents more in the coming months and years. There will be a special one night only exhibit of over 25 local artists “Firsts” Friday, June 28 where attendees vote for the People’s Choice Award.
Additionally, there will also be new art in the windows, live entertainment, special guests, and free beer donated by Iron Hill. Of course, there will also be local artists to meet. The night will also be celebrated with a birthday cake.
The event is free and there is a $5 suggested donation to this non-profit.
