Students at Osage Elementary School helped raise money for CHOP research earlier this school year. Students in Colleen Rossi’s fourth grade classroom decided to start their own lemonade stand during school lunch periods for two straight weeks.
George Ayad, Frankie Brown and Austin Huber had a goal of $500 and were able to reach $570.41 for CHOP through their efforts.
CHOP Event and Planner for Schools Ellie Papparone, accepted the check for Osage’s “Lemonade Waiters” and taught the students about how their donations would be used to help fund cancer research at CHOP.
