Meloche reveals full-time kindergarten for township elementary schools to get green light

Cherry Hill residents got a small glance at what full-day kindergarten could look like in Cherry Hill during last Tuesday’s Cherry Hill Board of Education meeting. Superintendent Joe Meloche and school administrators gave an update on the school district’s plan to roll out full-day kindergarten in all 12 elementary schools. The program is scheduled to begin next September.

Improved Cherry Hill East, Cherry Hill West football programs ready to battle for the Boot

For half a century, Cherry Hill East and Cherry Hill West have been facing off on the gridiron. The Cougars and Lions will battle in the 50th edition of their storied rivalry on Wednesday. Cherry Hill Council approves three bond ordinances on first reading

Cherry Hill Township Council approved a series of bond ordinances on first reading during its meeting on Tuesday night. The three bond ordinances, totaling approximately $8.9 million combined, would allow the township to issue about $8.2 million in bonds or notes. The money would be used to fund a slew of capital projects. All of the projects were included in the township Fiscal Year 2019 budget.

Cherry Hill East grad receives Ronald Reagan Student Leader Award

A Cherry Hill East grad and student at Syracuse University recently received a prestigious honor. Chelsea Stern of Cherry Hill was recently given the Ronald Reagan Student Leader Award in recognition of her exceptions leadership and character. Stern earned these honors by serving on South Jersey BBYO’s regional board.
