The memory support community for seniors recently held the grand opening of its location on Brace Road.
Cherry Hill’s newest senior living community, Symphony at Cherry Hill, is now open. The brand-new senior living community, with a view of Challenge Grove Park, is specifically dedicated to helping those with memory loss in ground-breaking ways.
Symphony at Cherry Hill’s approach to memory care is unique thanks to its signature In the Moment memory support program.
“The vision behind In the Moment is to create an environment where seniors with Alzheimer’s Disease can live their best possible lives through one-on-one diagnoses and holistic solutions,” said James Santana, Symphony at Cherry Hill’s executive director. “There is no magic pill to treat dementia. It’s all about getting to know people, understanding how the disease is impacting them, and working together to help them continue to move forward physically and cognitively, one step at a time.”
The In the Moment program is a team-approach to dementia care that focuses on holistic healing, promoting overall well-being and celebrating resident individuality. The program is broken down into six elements, called the principles of well-being: artistic expression, physical engagement, spiritual support, community connections, continuing education, and lifestyle and leisure.
Aside from the In the Moment program, Symphony at Cherry Hill also boasts top-notch amenities like sprawling common areas, beautiful gardens, and mouth-watering meals from rewound chef Chef Andres Tzul. “It’s a common misconception that life comes to a screeching halt after an Alzheimer’s diagnosis,” said Santana. “That’s just not true. Seniors with Dementia still want to see, do, learn, and experience. It’s our job to help them do that.”
Symphony at Cherry Hill is currently open and accepting new residents. To learn more about Symphony at Cherry Hill and to RSVP, call (609) 757–1403 or visit www.symphonyatcherryhill.com
