Origins of Bubbe Meises the topic of the next Temple Beth Sholom Hazak meeting

The meeting will take place on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m.

On Thursday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m., Chaim Lauer will present “Bubbe Meises: Jewish Superstitions and Folklore” at Temple Beth Sholom Hazak’s meeting. Tikvah Chapter of Camden County Hadassah joins Hazak as a co-sponsor of the program at Temple Beth Sholom, 1901 Kresson Road, in Cherry Hill.

We will explore the origins of Bubbe Meises, their meanings, sources and origins. Lauer is an educator, speaker, and writer. With more than 30 years as a Jewish Communal professional, he is happy to share his wide range of interests with equally curious audiences.
