The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 4.

The First Baptist Church in Moorestown will host a “Community Night” on Thursday, Oct. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event coincides with, and supports, “Ladies Night Out” organized by the Moorestown Business Association with the aim of getting families to spend the evening shopping, dining and socializing. It’s all part of a concerted effort to add vibrancy to the town center. Restaurants and other Main Street businesses plan to stay open late to accommodate shoppers and revelers.

The First Baptist Church’s “Community Night” is open to the public. It will be held in the parking lot and “breezeway” of the church at 19 W. Main Street in the heart of the downtown. Musicians will perform in the “breezeway,” conveniently located adjacent to the Main Street pavement. Vendors, including artisans and local authors, will set up shop in the parking lot adjoining the “breezeway.”
