This year’s Harvest Fest is set to feature more than 95 artists and crafters and more than 25 food vendors.
Evesham Township is once again gearing up for the fall season with a wide array of events to keep residents entertained as the air begins to cool and the leaves begin to fall.
First and foremost, Evesham’s annual Harvest Fest is set to return on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Main Street.
According to the Evesham Celebrations Foundation, which organizes the annual event, this year’s Harvest Fest is set to feature more than 95 artists and crafters, who will be selling products similar to those sold at past events such as glass art, jewelry, homemade food, homemade soap, photography, home décor for the fall and winter season and more.
Officials say this year’s event will also feature more than 25 food vendors along the route and at a special food court set up for the event at the adjacent Cooper Avenue.
As with past years, the event will also feature live music and other fun, with officials describing it as a way for residents to see friends and neighbors as the fall season kicks off.
“It’s our annual festival that the Evesham Celebrations Foundation and township, fire department, police department, public works department and everybody is involved with to put on a great show and great product for everybody,” said Evesham Councilman Ken D’Andrea, who also serves as president of the Evesham Celebrations Foundation. “It’s a wonderful event…it should be a great day for everybody.”
D’Andrea also noted the event would once again feature shuttles at Cherokee High School running continuously throughout the day to and from the event on Main Street to help alleviate traffic and parking concerns near Main Street.
“We got great feedback on the shuttles,” D’Andrea said.
