Letter to the Editor: Township needs visible warning signs

Clark calls for better signs to prevent continued destruction along Borton’s Landing Road.

For the fourth time in eight months, brick debris was scattered over the yard of Moorefield, a condo community on the corner of Main Street/Marne Highway and Marter Avenue/Borton’s Landing Road in Moorestown.

Evidently people come barreling up Marter Avenue and don’t realize that Borton’s Landing Road angles to the right. They plow right through the intersection, up the curb, across the lawn and into the brick wall that surrounds the complex.

The destruction lies there for a month or more, while residents contact their insurance. It takes about a week for masons to come and piece the wall together. Why?

Why doesn’t the township or county place either visible signs warning of the curve, or install sturdy barriers to prevent this nonsense? How about it, Moorestown? We who live in the neighborhood are tired of seeing this debris, time after time, and time again!
