Tenth annual blueberry festival returns

The festival will take place on Friday, June 16 from 5 to 9 p.m.

The 10th Annual Blueberry Festival will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 16 in the Trinity Episcopal Church parking lot. The church is located at 207 West Main Street at the intersection of Main and Church Streets. A public parking lot is located on Second Street east of Church Street.

Admission for adults is $5, $3 for children and kids under five can enter for free.

The price of admission includes one dessert topped with delicious fresh blueberries and ice cream. At no extra cost, children will enjoy a Moon Bounce, face painting and balloons. There will be a live band from 6 to 8 p.m. Just-harvested blueberries as well as blueberry goodies, such as homemade jam, will be for sale. Sausages and hot dogs, hot off the grill also will be available.
