Police say four females allegedly filled bags with merchandise and left the store, with one female allegedly macing an employee.
The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:
On May 9 at 7:47 p.m., patrols from the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department responded to Party City at 1180 Nixon Drive for a report of an alleged robbery.
According to police, an investigation revealed that an employee of the store confronted four females who were allegedly observed filling large shopping bags with merchandise and leaving the store.
When the employee approached the females, police one of the females allegedly “maced” her in the face, resulting in an injury.
Police say the four females then left the scene in what appeared to be a 90’s Nissan Pathfinder, with driver-side door damage and a Pennsylvania registration.
According to police, the four females were also apparently accompanied by three young juveniles.
