Officials say the department is commending Officer Scott Kennedy for his investigative skills and commitment to making the township safe.

The Evesham Township Police Department (ETPD) has announced Officer Scott Kennedy as the department’s “Officer of the Month” for April 2018.
Officials say the department is commending Kennedy for his investigative skills and commitment to making the township safe.
In April, police say Kennedy responded to the area of Walmart for a shoplifting that had just occurred. Police say the individual allegedly involved in the incident reportedly fled in a vehicle with an unknown amount of stolen items.
Police say Kennedy located the individual’s vehicle on Route 73 and was able to conduct a motor vehicle stop near Mt. Laurel. Police say his stop led to the recovery of numerous laptop computers, narcotics and two canisters of pepper spray
Police say the individual was also later determined to be a wanted person was also found in possession of a stolen wallet containing a separate victim’s credit cards.
Police officials say Kennedy has been a member of the Evesham Township Police Department for 10 years.
