Kobolak’s top throw of 57-feet, four inches was good enough for third place at the winter season’s final meet.
Kamron Kobolak finished in the top-five for the first time at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions on Sunday. The shot putter from Cinnaminson High School finished in third place in the meet with a top throw of 57-feet, four inches.
Kobolak finished behind Gill St. Bernard School’s C.J. Licata, who won the meet with a throw of 62-feet, 7.75 inches. Delsea Regional High School’s Bill Goldsborough edged out Kobolak for second place with a throw of 57-feet, 11.5-inches.
Kobolak finished the season having finished in the top-three of every meet he competed in. His best throw of the winter came at the Feb. 6 Cherokee Throw Down, where he reached 61-feet, three-inches.
