Haddonfield boys and girls swimming come up short of state titles

Both Haddonfield swim teams lost over the weekend in the NJSIAA Public Group C state championship meets.

Haddonfield boys and girls swimming both fell in their respective NJSIAA Public Group C state finals over the weekend. The girls swim team lost to Mountain Lakes, while the boys team came up short against Demarest.

The girls swim team lost on Saturday, 112–58. Carly Griffin brought home first place in the 100 butterfly for Haddonfield. The Bulldawgs’ loss was the third straight year they fell to Mountain Lake in the state championship.

The Haddonfield boys team lost on Sunday, 101–69. The Bulldawgs did take first place in two relay events. In addition, Conor Skelly finished in first place in the 100 butterfly for Haddonfield.
