The event gave locals a chance to get in some last-minute exercise before heading to their final Thanksgiving destinations.
Before stuffing, mashed potatoes and turkey, a dedicated group of locals gathered on Main Street for the township’s second annual Marlton Turkey Trot 5k Run on Nov. 23.
The event gave locals a chance to get in some last-minute exercise before heading to their final Thanksgiving destinations.
Those in attendance “trotted” down Main Street, following the same pattern as the Marlton Mayor’s Cup 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run race that precedes the township’s annual Fourth of July Parade every year.
Officials say the second annual Turkey Trot event was another success, and officials offered their thanks to all those who came out to the event and all those who volunteered to make the event another great year.
Officials also specifically offered their thanks to Evesham Fire-Rescue, the Evesham Township Police Department and the Evesham Celebrations Foundation.
Locals are also invited to lookout for more information about next year’s event next fall.
