- This Saturday, Lights on Main will begin an hour earlier at 5 p.m. to allow for families of younger children the ability to enjoy all the event has to offer at an earlier convenience. The event held on North and South Main streets, between Woodland Avenue and Folwell Lane, will feature holiday celebrations, local food vendors, small business shopping, live entertainment and more.
Around South Jersey
- Numerous South Jersey towns will be promoting their local businesses for Small Business Saturday. In Haddonfield, the weekend kicks off with Candlelight Shopping on Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. The borough will also host its holiday tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. at library point. On Saturday, there will be musical performances and horse-drawn carriage rides from noon to 3 p.m. in downtown Haddonfield. - Cherokee High School’s fall play, “White Christmas,” will open this weekend at Cherokee High School. - Those wanting to visit Santa Claus at the Cherry Hill Mall this weekend will have plenty of chances to do so. - Sea Isle City will host its Holiday Extravaganza on Friday and Saturday this weekend at Excursion Park. Shoppers who spend $20 in Sea Isle City on Small Business Saturday will be entered into a raffle to win a big screen television. - Christmas Village at Philadelphia’s Love Park will be open to shoppers all weekend. There will also be European foods, sweets and drinks, live entertainment and more. The village will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
