Solar Eclipse Event at Palmyra Cove Environmental Discovery Center

Join the Palmyra Cove on August 21 for the first total eclipse since 1918!

On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse will cross the continental United States from Salem, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. The last time a total eclipse crossed the United States from sea to sea was June 8, 1918.

Join the Palmyra Cove Environmental Discovery Center from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on August 21 for this historic event! Palmyra Cove will be providing various hands on science activities in conjunction with the solar eclipse. This event will take place rain or shine and glasses will be provided for all who register. This event is free for all ages. We ask that all students K-8 are accompanied by an adult.
