Facebook helps Evesham Police identify male suspected of recording male in restroom at Chick-fil-a

ETPD officials say several tips from the department’s Facebook followers helped identify the suspected male.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

Recently the Evesham Township Police Department reached out to its Facebook followers seeking help in identifying a suspect from a surveillance picture.

According to police, a witness reported a male allegedly, secretly recording another male while inside the restroom of the Chick-fil-a, 220 N. Route 73 in Marlton.

Police say the unknown male was observed inside the bathroom on July 20, at 1:35 p.m. According to police, when confronted, the male allegedly fled the store and drove away in an unknown type vehicle.

From the handful of tips the department received, officers say they were able to identify the male.

Charged:

A male, age 27, of Wenonah, has been charged with fourth-degree invasion of privacy. An arrest warrant with no bail has been issued for his arrest. If anyone knows his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Evesham Police Department.
