Local attorneys take part in Alice Paul Institute’s College & Careers program

Charny Karpousis Altieri & Donoian, P.A. attorneys Karen Rose Karpousis and Erika Goldberg shared stories related to their profession.

Charny Karpousis Altieri & Donoian, P.A. partner Karen Rose Karpousis, along with senior associate Erika Goldberg, recently took part in the Alice Paul Professional Leadership Institute’s “College & Careers” program on June 29.

According to the Alice Paul Institute web site, API’s mission is to honor the legacy of Alice Paul’s work for gender equality through education and leadership development. The College & Careers program is a four-day program, which includes college campus and workplace visits, networking practice and career workshops.

“The Alice Paul Foundation is an inspiring organization, and I was incredibly honored to be a part of such a worthwhile event,” Goldberg said. “It was a fun and extremely rewarding experience to have the opportunity to speak with and mentor such bright and focused young women.”

As a regular volunteer with many local groups, Karpousis also agreed.

“Mentoring the young women who attend the Alice Paul institute was both rewarding and inspiring,” Karpousis said. “It was an honor to share college and career advice with the future leaders in our community.”
