Palmyra PD encouraging residents to lock cars

Sometime during the overnight to early morning hours of Wednesday, June 7 and June 8, three reports of car break-ins were reported.

The Palmyra police department is encouraging residents to lock their cars and remember to take valuables with them when they leave their vehicle, according to an announcement on the department’s Facebook page.

Sometime during the overnight to early morning hours of Wednesday, June 7 and June 8, three reports of car break-ins were reported on the 700 block of Morgan Ave. and 900 and 1000 blocks of Columbia Ave. Suspect or suspects took loose change and cell phones.

The vehicles were unlocked.
