A little out of the ordinary
Nothing in our relationship has been ordinary, and it doesn’t always go the way we plan but his proposal was something that went according to plan.
Christmas morning came the kids are laughing, smiling, and full of excitement. Christmas music is playing, breakfast is being made. While the kids are getting dressed for the day Paul asked for me to sit in the living room just to relax (we have six kids altogether so relaxing doesn’t always fit lol) but I go in to the living room and have a seat with him. He starts reflecting on our relationship and all the things we have gone through the greatest of days to the worst and through everything we always become stronger than ever. He proceeded to tell me how he wanted our strength to be permanent. He then got down on one knee and told me I was his forever and asked me to be his wife!
