Fourth Annual Green Garden Fair held by the Camden County Board of Freeholders and the Camden County Office of Sustainability Saturday, May 4

Gardening workshops, children’s activities, and WHYY host Mike McGrath to feature

Tomorrow, May 4, the Camden County Board of Freeholders and the Camden County Office of Sustainability will be hosting the Fourth Annual Green Garden Fair.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Camden County Environmental Center, 1301 Park Blvd, Cherry Hill.

Notable activities planned include garden workshops and children’s activities. Mike McGrath of WHYY will also pe presenting “Totally Tomatoes” at 11 a.m. and “What are Pollinators and How to Attract Them” at 1 p.m.

The groups will have a wide variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables for sale.

A free clinic will also be hosted by The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Camden County throughout the day.

10:30 am Master Gardener talks on Raised Beds and Soil Testing
11:00 am Mike McGrath — Totally Tomatoes
12:00 pm Cooking and Nutrition Demonstration
12:30 pm Master Gardener talks on Composting and Shade Gardening
1:00 pm Mike McGrath — What are Pollinators and How to Attract Them
