The free event held in Medford open to the public
It is time to garden, and Medford Friends Meeting is hosting a Plant Swap to get you growing Sunday, April 30. The swap begins at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Gardeners are invited to bring a plant and take home a plant in exchange, or a packet of seeds. Plants may be dropped off for labeling Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or before 11 a.m. on the 30th. Admission is free and ample parking is available. The swap will be held rain or shine.
Medford Friends Meetinghouse is located at 14 Union Street in Medford Village. Parking and entrance are at the rear of the building that was built in 1814. The Meeting seeks to provide a sense of community through outreach events such as the plant swap. Meeting for worship is held every Sunday at 10 a.m. and visitors are always welcome.
