Medford Leas resident was 93
Virginia Mattice of the Medford Leas passed away April 14, 2017. She was 93 years old. Ginny was a graduate of Moorestown High School and served in the Air Force during World War II and in the reserves for many years. After graduating college, she worked as a librarian at the University of Alaska and the Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
Virginia is survived by her brother Bruce Slocum and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Colestown Cemetery, Kings Highway, Cherry Hill. Please do not send or bring any flowers. Memorial contributions can be made to the Medford Leas Nursing Scholarship Fund .
