Haddonfield Road lanes re-opening following accident near Garden State Park

Reports say a vehicle struck a utility pole in the area, causing wires to come down across the road.

Three lanes on Haddonfield Road near Garden State Park shopping center have re-opened following a motor vehicle crash earlier this morning.

Cherry Hill Police announced both southbound lanes and one northbound lane of Haddonfield Road had re-opened shortly after 3 p.m. One northbound lane was still closed as PSE&G continued repairs to a downed utility pole.

Haddonfield Road was shut down just before noon between Hollis Avenue and Graham Avenue on Thursday. A motor vehicle crash took down a utility pole in the area. Wires fell across the length of the road.

The accident caused some locations in the area to lose power, according to PSE&G’s power outage map. The map says power is scheduled to be restored by 8 p.m.
