Mt. Laurel Library to hold ‘Super Smash Bros.’ video game tournament on Feb. 18

The “doubles” tournament is open to those in grades seven through 12.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, the Mt. Laurel Library will be holding a “doubles” tournament for the fighting video game “Super Smash Bros.”

This tournament is open to those in grades seven to 12, with the tournament starting at noon and lasting until 4 p.m.

Teens are invited to team up with their friends. According to the library, there was a request for a tournament with larger teams. The library says such a tournament is a possibility, depending on how many players there are.

Spectators are welcome, but registration is required to compete.

The library lists the following description for the structure of the tournament:

This will be a doubles tournament.

Each match will be best two out of three games.

Level of elimination will be determined by the final number of players.

Participants must register in order to compete.

Drop in spectators are welcome.

Participants must arrive on time. Once the tournament has begun, there will be no changes or additions to the brackets.
